Short Bio:
Sweder van Wijnbergen recieved his PhD from MIT in 1980. From 1980 to 1992, he worked as an economist at the Worldbank. Since 1992 he has been a professor at the
University of Amsterdam, interrupted by a position as "secretaris-generaal" at the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
