Research interests: Macroeconomics, DSGE Models, Search and Matching Models, Numerical Solution Techniques, Time-varying VAR Models, Frictions PhD project: Joris de Wind is analyzing the properties of DSGE models in which firms face multiple frictions. He focuses on the interaction between frictions such as price stickiness, limits in obtaining firm financing and search frictions. His supervisor is Wouter den Haan. Short Bio: Joris de Wind is an Economist at the Research Department of the Dutch Central Bank (DNB). He holds an M.Phil. in Economics from the Tinbergen Institute. |
