CIFRA functions since 1998 as an active node in the international network of top research centers in Finance.  According to its research mission, CIFRA is a meeting point for the exchange and elaboration of novel ideas and methodologies in financial economics.  Currently, CIFRA has two main active themes: International Financial Integration and Corporate Finance and Banking. To fulfill its research mission, CIFRA performs an active role in the organization of international workshops, supports PhD students' research, maintains an active visitor program, and promotes an open flow of communication between policymakers, financial sector practitioners and academics.   CIFRA’s Co-Directors are:   prof. dr.
